WORLD BANK TO INJECT $500m INTO EDUCATION IN 5 STATES
The international center for investigative reporting ( icir) is reporting that the world Bank would be pumping $500m as a grant into five States of Nigeria in the next five years.
The information officer in the universal basic education board (ubec), Helen okoro, said this is a statement released on Thursday 8th of September 2016,in Abuja, Nigerias capital city.
Quoting olatunde adekola, the head of the world Bank international reconstruction and development team. Okoro said that the fund was meant for the global partnership of education (GPE) which was established for the basic level in kano, kaduna, jigawa, sokoto, and katsina States.
